Version 1, published 2026-10-04

Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you, the customer who holds a ListWarden account, and Letail, LLC, 2969 Riverside Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95818, United States ("ListWarden", "we"). You accept them by ticking the checkbox at signup, or on the acceptance page when a new version is published. The version and date above identify the text you accepted; your account records both, with the time you accepted.

1. The service

ListWarden monitors the IPv4 addresses and domains you add to your account ("assets") against blocklists, reputation services and similar authorities, tells you when a verdict changes, and helps you request removal where an authority allows it. For each listing it opens a case, assembles the evidence, and either submits the request for you or gives you a prepared packet to submit yourself.

2. Your account

  • One account has one login and up to 20 live API keys. Keep your password and API keys secret; anything done with them is done by you.
  • Give a real email address and keep it working. We send verification, alerts and account notices to it.
  • Add only assets you own or are authorised to act for. By adding an asset you confirm that you are.

3. Standing authority

This section is the standing-authority grant. Accepting these terms grants it; it is what allows ListWarden to act for you.

  • One grant, no per-case approval. You grant ListWarden standing authority, once, to request removal, delisting and review of your assets from the authorities that list or flag them, on your behalf. The grant covers every case on every asset in your account. We do not ask for your approval case by case.
  • Handled or self-serve. Each case is either handled, where ListWarden submits the request for you, or self-serve, where we give you the prepared packet and you submit it. Which applies depends on what the authority permits and on your plan. You can pause handling in your account settings at any time without withdrawing this grant; paused cases are shown to you as self-serve packets instead.
  • What you pay for is the effort. What ListWarden sells is the work of preparing and making a removal attempt. An accepted request and a denied request are billed the same. Authorities decide on their own rules and timelines, and we do not guarantee any outcome: not that a listing is removed, not how fast, and not that it stays removed.

Identities we use. Each authority is approached under one of these identities, as the authority requires:

  • the ListWarden-hosted mailbox created with your account: requests are sent from it and confirmations are received at it;
  • a mailbox at your own domain (for example postmaster@ or abuse@): if you forward it to your hosted mailbox, replies arrive there; if you give us its credentials, ListWarden sends and reads mail as that mailbox, using your own mailbox credentials;
  • dashboard access you delegate to ListWarden's account at the authority, from which we read your data and submit reviews;
  • an abuse contact for your IP range or domain that you point at your hosted mailbox, so the authority sees it as the registered contact;
  • a command or short script that you run yourself from your own systems, where the request must come from the listed address.

Under the same grant:

  • Challenges. Where an authority's form presents a CAPTCHA or browser challenge, ListWarden may pass the CAPTCHA or browser challenge on your behalf, whether a person or software solves it.
  • Ownership declarations. Where an authority's form asks the requester to declare that they own or are responsible for the asset (a checkbox, not a verification), ListWarden makes the ownership declaration on your behalf under this grant. You confirm that the declaration is true when you add the asset.
  • Ending the grant. Closing your account ends the grant. Requests already submitted are not withdrawn.

4. Plans and billing

  • The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are billed in US dollars by card, monthly or annually, at the price and cadence shown at checkout. Quote plans are invoiced as agreed.
  • The plan sets how many assets are monitored, how often they are checked, how many cases per month are handled, and how long history is kept.
  • If a charge fails, handling pauses at once while monitoring and alerts continue for a 14-day grace period. If the grace period ends unpaid, the account is suspended: checks and alerts stop and your data is kept for your plan's retention period. Paying restores the account.

5. Acceptable use

  • Fix the cause of a listing before asking for its removal. Do not use ListWarden to get a sending source delisted while it keeps sending the mail that got it listed.
  • Do not use ListWarden to probe, monitor or request removal of assets you are not authorised to act for.
  • Do not try to get around plan limits, rate limits or the authorities' own rules.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks this section.

6. Your data

What we store, why, how long we keep it and who we share it with is set out in the privacy policy, which you accept together with these terms.

7. Availability and liability

We run the service with care but provide it as it is, without a promise that it is always available or that every check succeeds. Checks that cannot be completed are shown as unknown, never as clean. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of mail delivery, revenue or reputation.

8. Changes to these terms

When we publish a new version of these terms or of the privacy policy, it carries a new version number and date. At your next sign-in you are asked to accept it before anything else. Until you do, the dashboard sends you to the acceptance page and API calls answer with an error naming that page.

9. Closing your account

You can close your account at any time. We may close an account under section 5 or when the law requires it. Data is then deleted as the privacy policy says.

10. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, and disputes about them go to the state and federal courts located in Sacramento County, California. Questions about them go to [email protected].
